Erik Heller is a main character of Season 1 and was Hanna's adoptive father.
Background[]
Erik used to work for Marissa Wiegler until he fell in love with Johanna. He broke Hanna out of the UTRAX facility in Romania, where he attempts to escape from Marissa with Johanna, but Johanna died in the process. He ran escaped into the forest and raised her as his own since then.

Erik was Johanna's UTRAX recruitment officer. He eventually fell in love with her, and after Johanna gave birth, she regretted her decision, and he broke Hanna out of the facility.
